Just finished watching RENT...I know I am like the last person to see it. It was an awesome movie. It is one of 3 or 4 movies that made me cry (people that know me well know that I don't get emotional like that). I can't remember how to do a cut so that people that don't want to read this don't have to. So the rest of this entry is a little sad.

The reason for the tear jerker was that someone very close to me has AIDS, and I know that people don't "die" from AIDS they die from another virus/infection/whatever that invades their weakened immune systems. Still...my only thought was that I am going to lose this person in a similar way that Angel died. He has been very lucky so far and has not been sick in years, but has been off his meds since September 2006...and I can't do anything about it.

Why do I even post this? Maybe in some small way to raise awareness, get out my anger or sadness. I don't know. I wish that he would do something about it instead of feel sorry for himself. I wish that I was a better public speaker so that I could do something in my own way. I wish I could do something.

WTF!!! Why is October the month for drama. Every single year if something is going to go wrong, or the shit hits the fan it is always in the month of October. Three things have already happen at least around me and the week is not even over.
The only thing that has "happened" to me is that I keep thinking that I am coming off as complete, controlling bitch. I just don't like drama, especially drama that can be avoided. Okay two out of three could not really be avoided, but one could have. Therefore I come off as a little (alright a lot ) insensitive. I don't mean to seem like that and those that know me well I am straight forward and can be harshly blunt and when I think someone is being stupid I am going to tell them to their face. I will try to help them in anyway possible though.
I will just be glad when this month is over. Then on November 4 my sister and brother-in-law are coming to visit, so they will be here for my b-day (which is the 5).
I am also very thankful for the people who keep me sane: friends, family, my cats :)

I actually look forward to Fridays now. Since I started my new job I have my weekends free, which means I have a life again. Today at 5pm I am free until Monday. I also have semi plans this weekend, well at least for today and tomorrow. Sunday is set aside for homework. I really like my new job, it is defiently better than the gas station, but then again having wisdom teeth removed is more pleasant than working for Dan "F*******" Moreland :)
Well I better get back to work.

I started working at INST Monday. I think I am really going to like it. Sunday was my last night at the gas station, I was so excited/happy to be getting out of there. So at the moment things are good. I am actually not dreading going to work at 12:30, and I am almost caught up with my school work. I am feeling very little stress and this makes me so happy. I also have my weekends free, which granted I will be doing a lot of studying but I will also be able to have some fun to and get some reminent of a life back. So I am a very happy little scorpio_child21!!
I hope that everybody is haveing a wonerful day.

I would appreciate it if everybody would tell me if they are coming to the ritual on Wednesday night that way I know what to tell be people abou the amount of food. Right now I am guessing at least 15 people to please comment if you are coming and tell me what you will be bringing. Thanks I hope everyone has had a great weekend.

I finally got around to adding a couple of pics to my lj so I just wanted to share. I hope everyone is having a great day and have a wonderful weekend.

Well this has been one hell of a week so for and it is not even over. I still have two test (both being on Friday, and back to back). For those of you who don't know this is my last year with perserverence, lots of caffine, my wonderful boyfriend, wonderful friends,and everything else that is in my life I will graduate college in May. Then probably vet school, or grad school but more on that probably next semester.
I also have a job interview tomorrow for a job on campus, so everyone keep your fingers crossed. (I have to get out of the gas station).
On a lighter note I am off work Saturday and Sunday, so if anybody wants to hang out give me ring (662-324-1699).

Well I finally went to the health center today. For those of you who have not noticed I have been coughing for the past 4 weeks (and no it is not the normal "smokers cough"). So now my voice sounds different, and I could have dealt with that (maybe), but my hearing started being effected. I finally broke down today and got it checked out. Plus side I don't have bronchittis, however, I do have fluid in my ears and a slight infection. They gave me a z-pac and something to break up the congestion. Needless to say I am feeling pretty damn loopy right now. I am just glad that I will be back to my old self soon.
Well I need to walk to class.

I really hate using the public computers in the library. The last two days I have been trying to do stuff/get things down and everytime I try to save are move on I get "This program is not responding". Then I try to end the program but oh no it is being debugged. I want my internet back at my place of residence. Any who.
Sorry I haven't made a real post in a while. School is back in full swing and I am as busy as ever. I am trying to get a job on campus so everybody keep your fingers crossed. I have also started going back to the gym which is good for me because it gives me time to distress. Well I better go. Talk to you guys later.
